About MEDSTAR  Medstar is a 19 m / 63″ luxury motor yacht. She was built by J&K Smits Scheepswerven in 1976. With a beam of 5.06 m and a draft of 2.2 m, she has a steel hull and steel superstructure. This adds up to a gross tonnage of 50 tons. She is powered by Cummins engines of 225 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots. Itasca's maximum range is estimated at 1000 nautical miles. The motor yacht can accommodate 6 guests in 3 cabins with an interior design by Judy Bell Davis and an exterior design by J&K Smits Scheepswerven.
